The rear wheel holder on my Thule 591 rack has broken and needs replacing. The holders for the newer 598 look as though they may be more suited to my 27.5+ wheels. Does anyone know if the newer 598 wheel holders are compatible with the older 591 rack?

I've got both, pretty sure the metal rack is the same so the wheel trays should be cross compatible

I don't think they are, a friend has both racks and lost a wheel holder and wasn't able to switch between the two iirc
They are annoyingly slightly different. I have both and tried it.
Yeah I just checked, the 591 holders will fit on the 598 rails but not the other way round. The centre well in the 598 rails is slightly deeper so the 598 wheel holders jam in the 591 rails.
