Has anyone tried to adapt a pro-ride 591 to a fork mount successfully?

There are various simple fork mounts available with adaptors for not a lot of money, just wondering if anyone has had success in butchering a 591 to something like a fastride type bolt on?

You can take the arm off (part of being able to swap which side it is on). Not the best shape to bolt the fork mount too though. Why not just sell and get something with a fork mount or fit the fork mount direct to the t-track.

Selling and re-buying is my next option.  Cheers

It depends what exactly you're after here. Thule do various fork mount racks (561/564/568). We had a 561 but from memory it wasn't recommended with carbon forks and could only do QR or 20mm out of the box, though it looks like they do/did adaptors for other through axles. Also couldn't lock the bike to it when using a through axle.

Looks like the 564/568 might be more flexible?

Anyone used something like this? Only issue would be that the roof bars would need to be in the right position and bikes would need to be the same wheelbase if more than one bike on roof...

OK ebay links not allowed, https://images.app.goo.gl/kY7a7PbU8BNmrGPh7 how about this?
