[#12453085]

Need to get a thru axle fork mount for carrying my gravel bike in my van. Does anyone have the below, seems they are pretty generic and sold all over Amazon and ebay and will also allow me to mount my other bikes when I occasionally need to, MTB thru axle and TT bike which is QR.

Thru Axle Mount

Or should I go for the slightly more expensive option of something like the below. But will only do one fork type.

Fancier option!

Also open to other better suggestions!

Cheers!

We have Rock Bros that take different end caps for the various axles. We bought them from eBay. Alternatively look at MTBVans

I've got these in the camper, swappable end caps, so far so good.

Mt Zoom, Blokpod, JR3DS are all ones that friends have got and rate.

I've got 3 variations in the zitto one you linked to in our van. Spend most of the time with 15*110 attachments in but it's nice to have flexibility if I'm taking others or the road bike, hybrids or bikepacker instead. I'm not sure the extra cost brings anything special.

Whatever you get go for ones with swappable adapters and make sure you buy any you could possibly need in the future.

I’ve just had a bit of an issue getting adapters for mine because the guy that made it has packed it in. (I found the Loaded Bikes ones fitted)

I'd avoid any 3D printed ones, the ones I had both snapped from the lateral wobble of the bike in the van. Metal all the way.

The JR3DS ones I had both cracked.
