Grrrr. My non drive side crank came off last night in a "just riding along" moment (after some dh). I noticed that the retaining screw has threaded, but more importantly the splines on the crank have too. Can these be fixed?

retaining screw - if you mean the tensioning/preload screw at the end of the axle that's not total disaster as it's plastic and a new onw would probably bite OK
(If you mean the 2 bolts that clamp the crank onto the axle, that's worse but maybe coilable ?)

splines - I reckon you're ****ed there

aye, the tension screw - i know that's no big deal as it's not load baring. The clamp screws are also OK, it's the crank splines that are ****ed - so guess that's it then.
