I know they're stupid, you know they're stupid, my wife on the other hand thinks they're useful.

And for her they might well be- she struggles with a sore ear canal when wind rushes past her ears. Yes, she is a wimp. Her mother gets it too. Cotton wool in her ears helps but obviously hinders her hearing.

Has anyone tried these ridiculous looking things and if so will they help her problem?

I'M A BIT DEAF, and the wind doesn't help, but i'll work on my ginger burnies a bit more yet.
