Hi all,

Does anyone know if a Thompson Eagle 26” frame has a threaded or pressfit B.B. shell?

Thanks!

New bike on me, but you should be able to identify it even without removing the crank. A threaded BB has obvious crenelations around the edge and will effectively extend the BB shell around 10mm or so either side of the shell, and the actual shell part of the BB (the metal frame part) will be 68 or 73mm. If the shell is much wider than that or you can't see different materials you're probably looking at a pressfit.

Sorry it's not a full answer, but hope that helps!

Threaded.
