I'm based in Reading and was going to take a trip to Cwmcarn this Sunday, but the more I think about it, the more I can't be bothered with the 4 hour drive.
Anyone have any suggestions of alternative places to ride that are worth loading up the van for and aren't quite so far away? Would also consider doing some racing, xc or DH.
Basically what's are people doing on their bikes on Sunday?!

I wasn't planning on moving there, just visiting for the day, you know, driving there and back like. 😆

I had heard there were lots of cheeky single track around Bristol. Is it all secret squirrel or is there some resource for Bristol singletrack?

I think 4 hour drive refers to it as a round trip (there and back).
To the OP how fit are you? You could always do two laps, one with Airstream One at the top, and the next with Airstream Two, should keep you busy for roughly 2.5/3 hours or just loop round at the top and do Airstream1 and 2 as part of one lap. Personally I enjoy CwmCarn, but as they say horses for courses I suppose.
