This morning's ride around the west end of the Mendips, trails are nice and dusty mostly, shame I cant link them all without using so much road

Its the sheep trail that contours around the flanks of Wavering Down and Compton Hill, near Crook Peak. Looks like its flattened off nicely. A few weeks ago it was poached to hell by cattle.

Agent - Is the route meant to be on that OS map?

Cool. Did you do Bleadon Hill? [could not make out the map]

Everywhere in Mendip is nice at the mo. Did Cheddar again with Rich this morning. Nearly went over the bars on the rocks over the Gorge!

hi guys - the contouring route is now a bit flatter, especially later on, once crook peak is in sight.

sorry, I'll repost the route, you cant make it out on that map. I rode up Bleaden Hill from Loxton, I reckon that would make a very fast descent in the other direction. I was trying to find a route through Banwell Hill and Banwell Woods too, but didnt have much luck, and ended up on the main road to Sandford. Any suggestions?
