What do you think? For a team or someone van camping with bikes -

At £8.5k it's well over priced and you'll have to rip out the cages etc from the rear. The heater would be good but there won't be proper power at 12 and 240v available where you need it with batteries etc (not in most police vans anyway), the dash will probably be a mess etc etc.

Basically no it's not a great conversion prospect. they make sense for bands etc who can use the cages to store stuff safely but don't make great conversions.

Ok so the cages have gone already and the dash doesn't look bad but it's still well over priced. I looked at a couple of ex police vans with a view to converting before I got my van and they don't make a great base. They sound appealing but don't work well in reality.
