If you go and they're any good, I'd be more than happy to take a punt and pick up postage costs..... not too garish / XL
If anyone is thinking of getting in a job lot I'll have a pair if thunder xc and a pair of handyman both medium please. £25 delivered??
Had a quick blast round my local trail today and can now say that the handyman is just superb.
Don,t think i,ll be buying fancy branded gloves ever again.
You really are paying for the name.
Made up i found these. 😀

Rob what's the sizing like?
I can confirm that these are quite good. They sell them in Home Depot (like B&Q) over here in Canada, I've had a pair for a year or so. Seem much more durable than most of the bike gloves that last about 5 minutes. There isn't much padding on the palm, and mine have some stitching across the heel of the hand that rubs a bit riding on the hoods of my commuter bike, but is ok on the mountain bike.
look good!
i have used these and while they seem fit for purpose at first, they seemed quite warm and sweaty.
plus the finger ends were thick, which i felt reduced feel for me.
good value though and i can see why that is important!
Was just in the Huws Gray in Heswall and very nearly bought a pair they've got the black full finger with a beanie hat for £12 or same but with open ended thumb and forefinger for £11. Both seemed really good, quite wide and fingers aren't too long which suits me but my fox's are pretty new so would have got shouted at by swimbo.
Good spot!
hmm. there's one of those Huws Gray places not far from here. Will have to investigate.
Nice one the Huws Gray in Heswall is only 2 miles from me.
I am quite hard on gloves so the overpriced MTB ones really annoy me when they start to fall apart after a dozen rides (Mace being the worst so far)
shame you cant order any of them near london, im looking for some new gloves and so far the best i have seen are theseGiro DJ gloves
http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/clothing/gloves/product/review-giro-dj-gloves-10-37609"If you only have one pair of gloves for everything, get these. They’re superb"
not so sure about this ripped my giro dj's on the third ride and first crash, soggy newspaper would be better
Look good to me, might give a pair a try, came off the commuter on ice last winter and tore the palm out of my old gloves.
Gw - do you read your own posts? I,ve seen several threads now where you basically come across as pretty rude. Just an observation, might want to think about how you come across to others
Do you read yours? I've only really noticed the one but found it a little dull and whiney, just an observation, might want to think about how you come across to others 😛
DT78, its not just me then regarding the attitude of GW?
Just goes to show how ridiculously overpriced the MTB specific gloves are. eg. POC!
s'funny I was just reading this thinking what a tool GW comew across as. Seriously, having a go at people about their racist beliefs/bad attitude or whatever is fair enough but lambasting someone about their knuckle protection 😕
Yea shame there is,nt a mute or block function on the site really. Then Gw could block me for being whinny and dull, and I could block him for being a bit of a tool...
Some forums let you hide low rated comments. Quite like that idea.
There is one available - if you're running Chrome.DT78 - Member

I reckon GW is just davidtaylforth on a bad day - i.e. one when he's not funny.
While we're on the subject of stuff you can find in a builders merchant.
I find 3M Virtua safety glasses ideal for eye wear, they do clear and blue mirror tinted.
The only cheap glasses I've ever found that are fairly scratch resistant and I'm not pushing up my nose all the time, and have great side visibility and actually look OK!
Bedmaker - Where did I lambaste anyone?
if Scruff (or anyone else) chooses to wear gloves with knuckle protection it's entirely his choice to make but the fact remains knuckle protection won't actually stop you breaking knuckles/fingers and is awkward and restrictive to ride in.
to any of you I may have upset. - If my brutal honesty regarding the complete shite you've typed about subjects/products you have little to no experience of is really too much for you to cope with then by all means block/ignore my posts but surely it would be far better for all of us if you just stopped spouting pish in the first place? 8)
It has definitely been noted on more than one occasion that GW is the ultimate keyboard warrior and probably drinks pish for breakfast just to keep him so surly and sour... 😐
😆
Recommended these on here awhile back on another glove thread

£5.99 TK Maxx -Got two pairs 😆 Better than any MTB glove I have tried.
johnjohn.
The sizing seems to be the same as most mtb gloves iv,e had.
I,m a size large in most and bought a size large in these.
Like it nick1962.
Is this becoming a better than MTB glove thread. 😀
wife is getting me these on monday from work http://www.toolbank.com/p/KUNL123L
I have been using leather 'sort of' with a soft furry lining for winter riding for years. Really warm without being sweaty and thin enough on the palm to be grippy. About £11 a pair. I appreciate that previously I was an embarrassment to ride with but now it seems that I was just an early adopter.
Ooooo.lovely cozy ones bellys. 🙂
+1 for GW coming across as a tool.
No doubt lovely in real life. That or he must be rock ard!
Well done to the OP. What a great find... May get some of the glasses mentioned too! My gloves are on order, so thanks again!!!
MTB gloves are silly expensive, best alternative I've found so far are Socal MX gloves at £6 on eBay but these do look even better.
I've tried 661 - crap
Giro - not good enough for the £
Fox - ahahahhaah
I am happy now though! 😀
