I've just swapped out my BB from an SLX to a Saint - seems the spacing is a little different as now my E-13 XCX guide is rubbing on the chain.

Where can I get hold of some thin spacers to get the alignment right? Any ideas? (just searched online and can only find 2.5mm normal ones - I think the E-13 ones that came with the guide originally were 0.5mm?)

Ta

Check your LBS, a lot of the latest Shimano BBs and Chainsets come with a 2mm and 0.5mm spacer included, which often end up in the spares drawer.

I think I've got some that came with a Superstar XCR chain device. Your welcome to them if I can find them in the morning. Drop me an email with an address.

I got some 0.5 & 1mm spacers online from 'Londonfixiebike', the ones used for freehubs are the same size.

The spacers that come off the back of roadie 10 speed cassettes are the same size, might be worth a look at your LBS see if they have any.

Velosolo.co.uk do them http://velosolo.co.uk/shopchain.html

near the bottom search for "VeloSolo CNC Bottom Bracket Spacer Kit"

bit pricey at 7.95 + 1.75 postage.

CRC and a lot of other bike shops do stock them.
