Need some new grips, a few years ago I had a set of Sunline 'thick' grips that were noticeably wider in diameter than most grips, and they were great. But I think they stopped making them.

Can anyone recommend any larger diameter lock on grips?

ODI Rouges, Race Face Strafe or Oury's are all nice and thick in my experience.

I've just switched from esi chunkys to supacaz grizip lock-ons. Very impressed - softish and grippy, and only an inner lockring so I can hang my pinkie over the outer edge in comfort.

They are 32mm diameter fwiw.

Specialized Enduro XL
ODI Rogue
ODI Elite Pro

Had the Odi Elites on my bikes for a little while now, they have an offset design, so puts more material under your palms for more cushioning.

I was always a big fan of the Sunline Thick grips too, on account of having hands like a gibbon, I found Lizardskins Northshore to be the ideal replacement

Edit: read thick as thin for some reason, ignore me

Odi Rogue. +1 great grip in the wet and cuts down vibration on the rough stuff

I'm having the same dilemma and had settled on some ESI in either thick or extra thick until I've seen the Easton lock on's are available in a thicker diameter. Anyone had any experience of those?

Thanks Dekerf853,

I always used Superstar Excel Lock On Grips but they haven't had any new stock for over a year now and are down to the last few unloved colours ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

The Uberbike ones look like they are just the trick ๐Ÿ˜€

+1 for Uber grips.

Very similar to SS excels (very grippy but can wear down quick)

Specialized Sip XL grip. 32mm diameter. I have them on all bikes now. Much nicer feel than the Specialized Enduro XL grip for me. Massively grippy and lasting well.

Took me a while to find something that I liked. Don't like lock-ons with dual collars, and didn't like the 150mm length of the Superstars mentioned above (and ruled out the Uberbikes for same reason).

+1 for ODI Rogue... have them on 3 bikes, never found anything I'd consider swapping for

A good thick grip but a tad slippy in the wet...
