In the past I've always been impressed with both Middleburn Slick Shift Hard Coat and Race Face rings for durability but there's Hope etc now producing these thick and thin rings so who uses what and which work well? Looking at a 34t if that makes any difference.

I had a 30T Race Face NW chain ring, now have a Hope 32T one. They both work. Get whichever one you fancy.

I've been running a Superstar one, cheaper than most and its outlasted 3 cassettes so pretty durable

Any. They're all good. Go for price or looks/bling.

Myself I'm using Works Components as they were there early on and cheap. Last ones I got to replace my worn out stuff they had a deal and worked out £22 each.

^Bargain! I have used Blackspire for a couple of years with no issues of chaindrop and wear rate is very reasonable.

Raceface one wore out in super quick time, so did a Hope.

Cromag has lasted well by comparison & I have a Works DM that seems to be lasting really well.
