I'm off to Thetford for a week and want to take my mates to the Dusk 'til Dawn area. I'm sure I'll spot it easy enough but I seem to remember there was a sign saying like N27 or something....can someone jog my memory, cheers

You're looking for Mayday meadow, Fire road 10, which is on the road opposite to Mayday farm. I think there is parking opposite as well.Map Link.

Don't forget that some of the bits from last years D2D were from the Black Run but going in the opposite direction to the normal flow of the black run, wouldn't want a crash ๐Ÿ˜‰

I'm up that way this week with work and contemplating taking my bike.

I'll only have a couple of hours spare so is it worth taking the bike for a quick blast? If so, which is the most fun trail to go for if I've only time to do either the Red or Black? Cheers!

i'd say black
it feels more natural and saves the best bit til last

Perfect - thanks for that. I'll give the Black run a try.

Some of the black is very cut up and bumpy in a bad way. I think you are better off doing the red then the first half of the black, cutting through to the beast and doing the last bit back to the main centre. Don't be afraid to nip off the main trails as there are some nice unmarked bits as well.

Thanks, I may give that a go. Out of interest, how long roughly would it take to do both?
