Whats the weather up there been like? Course holding out ok?
Trails pretty good at the moment, but way too early to even think about it.
We rode there a few weeks ago after some heavy rain and it was completely swamped - the next week it was bone dry....
I am praying for dry dry dry - might put my mud tyres on just to be sure!
I forgot to register and now it's too late. Can't say I'm sorry given the overall weather patterns recently though 🙂
Too dry at Thetford is almost as bad as the mud! Last year the dust and sand was a nighmare.
After breathing in dust for 12 hours I felt a stone heavier!
Thetford breaks quickly in the dry and forms sandy trails.
I rode the course on Sunday and if stays as it is now, roll on!
A little rain in the days leadin up is no bad thing. Just not too much or rain on the night!
We have got the coures all mowed and strimmed now so its ready to go, it also drys faster now if it rains as the vegataion is cut back, we had a BIG dump of rain this afternoon but it drys real fast in the forest, conditions have been spot on lately, just enough water to hold the sand together but the course has plenty of grip but not muddy,and still fast as it was at the weekend you could have run semi slicks.

Wahoo!! Can't wait! Think we've ridden some of the course, but not managed to string it all together.....
I've heard the course runs over by The Beast & Double Shocker? I hope we're not going 'up' the Beast, as that's a real bu66er!
Just keeping fingers crossed that it's not a repeat of 2 years ago with respect to the weather.
Last year was pretty dry, but would much rather that than wet.
Team Piecep heading to victory!!! HA HA!! Yeah right! Last 2 yrs we've done it as a trio, but this year we have a plucky Team Piecep member going for a solo assault, leaving Team Piecep 2 & 3 left as a pair.....keep an eye out for us (hovering around the burger van!)
