lusso ones are good (or any with roubaix fabric)

No Spud they aren't. Assos stuff is usually very very good but I had a pair and they were poor. Specialized are by far the best I have used - warm , keep their shape and fit well.

The Assos one's are very short, complete waste of money. I like my Nike ones but I think they're no longer available.

Shorter than Endura BZ? I'm only 5'7 so being too long is my concern.

Spud, if it helps Im shorter than you and the spesh ones fit great, they come in 3 sizes and are left right specific I promise you will not regret the purchase.

my assos used a lot are still in perfect condition after 8 years, worth the money o yes i think so.
