You know, versions of the mule etc., which were made with lighter ripstop-type material.

What were they called and where do they sell em?

Is that not fairly irrelevant when you put 3kg of water in it? The bags aren't particularly heavy.

What is more irrelevant is the excess lard on the fat biffer that will be wearing it - but you miss the point ๐Ÿ˜†

i dont have any idea. what about the ones that they made in a shirt for racing, holds about a litre, and you wear it under your jersey, seen them about.

I got one half-price last year as they'd been discontinued. I too fail to see the point but a bargain is a bargain.

I only take 1.5L for whole day rides.

Light + fast is the way to go. ๐Ÿ™‚

Innov8 hydration packs seem to be the lightest of all, but may be bordering on the flimsy for the stw 'hefty packers club'
