i,m aware of the horror stories regarding these wheels but wondered are the most recent ones (2013-14) are any better and sorted out the bearings/hub cassette body stuff? or continue to stay clear....cheers

get the impression Easton have sorted the probs (and retrospectively for older models with upgrade kits) but ala Marzocchi's wilderness years people have been put off and aren't buying.

I've had a pair of Havocs for the best part of a year and can't fault them for the sort of money CRC are jobbing them out at. Easy to use tubeless, light, pretty tough and they look nice. The freehub is also quiet which is a bonus in my eyes!
