They don't show any kind of extreme riding in their video, to be fair, it's all v-braked hybrid bikes on road, snow or smooth , dry forest trails, even though the phrase "downhill trails in the Swiss Alps" is used once, I think it's squarely aimed at recreational types. The original idea that riders in Norway could zip on a st of spikes to their normal road tyres in a bizzard seems a good one.

Be a good idea for fat bikes. Add/remove a set of spikes on the trail.
I'm dubious about the method though.
