I'd been getting a bit jaded riding the same routes all the time, so decided to get out today and explore. Started off on my normal route, then just forced myself to take any detour that I came across that even slightly resembled a rideable trail. Got stuck a few times and came to a few dead ends, but three hours later and I'm just back from one of the best rides I've had in ages.
To cap it all off, I get in to find that Villa are 1-0 up against Liverpool, and then open the fridge to realise that I have some beer left.
Sometimes everything just goes right. 😀
