I'm behind the times then! I thought he was in form after the Giro.

I will go for

Froome
Contador
Porte

With Sagan in green, Cavandish getting more stage wins, but Sagan picking up more points in intermediate sprints.

KOM:
Impossible to guess at the start.

Don't much care who wins it, TBH, but I'm hoping for plenty of...

Can't see past a Froome, Porte, 1-2 with Contador in third.

Cav will pick up three oor four stages, but Sagan will chase any point on any stage to take green.

Voeckler for polka dot - probably have the same frame ready in the van (I met him last year at the TT as the mechanics were prepping the bike for the last day).

TJ will look very impressive again this year.

...Off to fettle team justgofaster

Froome will win it baring disaster
Contador
Porte

Schleck will be miles behind. An hour at least.

Sagan will win green through winning some of the transition/medium mountain stages

Cav will win into Paris

Cadel Evans could be an outside bet for the podium - he was pretty impressive in the Giro.

As long as Tommy Voeckler has a week in yellow I'm not bothered who wins.

The Angry spider froome has to be top choice for podium.

Clenbutador for second. No idea on third.

Think the giro might be too much too recently for Evans to shine this year. But who knows.

Schleck will complain his way into a poor finish.

Be nice to see cav get green and voeckler get kom.

Two thing I've shouted most at the telly watching the Tour over the years:

"Allez Tommeeeeee!!!"

and "SHUT UP LEGS" every time Jens turns up on screen.

Froome to win, Porte in top three, Cav to win at least four stages, Clenbutador to flatter to deceive, Schleck to whinge, Popeye to make things interesting and Sagan not to pinch any ladies' bottoms.

It's going to be great!

His fellow riders can't stand him by all accounts! What's that all about?

I can get that. I imagine he's a right arse during his breakaways... but when he goes for it, he's a total legend.

As headfirst says,

"Allez Tommeeeeee!!!"

Camo16
Voekler Fanboi #2 (I imagine headfirst wants #1) 😀

Very opinionated and not afraid to call it as he sees it apparently!

Don't know if this is just media nonsense, he gets called "Hollywood" as they sometimes reckon he play acts at being out of it then suddenly rallies and head off on a breakway. There was a big interview with him in Cycle Sport last year, he is a very private man who keeps himself apart from the other racers. At least he doesn't moan his t's off like Cuddles "this is tooo hard" or Schleck "who want to win a bike race downhill?"

I would like to see Evans up there but I must have been watching a different Giro because although he did well, he was not really with the leaders when in came to the tough climbs, and there are a lot of those this year.

It's a shame Nibbles is not in it, the only one to beat Froome this year, and a class above in the Giro.

which out of these two Schleck or Hyserdal? Hysedral had a nasty fall in the Swiss tour - is he fit again now?

Froome
Contador
Porte

With Sagan in green.

My prediction too.

I would like to see Cuddles on the podium - few riders are quite so gutsy as Cadel who grinds his way into contention with little assistance from his team. The fact he's not media friendly adds to his appeal!

why does everyone forget about Cadel Evans?
surely he'll be up there again? he's built for the tour.

He put in a pretty massive effort to get 3rd place in the Giro, reckon most of think that may of taken too much out of him. He'll be top 10 for sure, probably top 5, but a podium is probably beyond him in my opinion.

yeah, but this is the tour. he's built for the Alpe D'Huez climb and they're doing it twice in one day!

Evans won't stick with Contador and Froome in the big mountains and no team will let him get away in a break unless he launches a Schleck-2011 style break where everyone is convinced it'll never work and lets him get away.
