not so much the commute from home which is a head down sweat and lycra fest, but getting from A to B during work hours, short journeys, carrying nothing more than will fit in my jacket pocket.....i dont need gloves, i dont wear a lid and ive got them plastic inserts in the spds that give some sort of just about useable platform to peddle in my suit shoes.

what do i do with my trousers?
a. get a natty trouser clip
b. tuck driveside leg into sock
c. roll driveside leg
d. wear shorts

Trouser clips rock, and you can get reflective ones too.

Sock is definitely an emergency measure.

Shorts are no good - if you need to wear the suit, where are you going to change when you get to your destination?

In a suit?

Trews Clip.

I foldie around town on occasion when the weathers right instead of tube and clips the only way to go, it doesn't crease trews at all. To avoid sweaty meetings pre destination (say 200mtrs) open jacket to let freash air in and slow down to walking pace.
Qwaff Hair, wipe brow, take clip off, enter meeting.. ๐Ÿ˜‰

funnily enough TT, i was just wondering about that.

its not a good time of year for foraging tho.
if i cant find some spare velcro tape, i might have to use a bulldog clip.

Roll both legs up - well, don't roll, more 3" ish folds, don't seem to crease any of my trousers.

Both legs as you sometimes get a little spray off the front wheel, even with full length guards, or legs flapping against mucky frame.

If you're doing it a lot, another alternative is to cut the "foot" off a sock, then pull it on over your sock. Unobtrusive when not in use, and then you can just pull it up to restrain trousers when required.
