Is it just in my head, though it feels like my legs.
I trained all winter on a road compact, and was very happy with it and my times and distances.

A few months back I went over to my race bike which runs a standard. Even if I fiddle with the ratios to match those I had on the compact, just turning over the 53 seems to take more effort. Though I only notice it on long rides.

So anyway I assume a ratio is the same which ever way you arrive at it no?

Anyone want an FSA Team Carbon Pro 53/39 octalink ๐Ÿ™‚

Different length cranks?

EDIT: or are you older now than you were then?

No not today. More of a testing route today, plus one of the more regular riders was about as blunt about last weekend as you can get.

We did okay, just a few 'chimps tea party' moments.

EDIT: or are you older now than you were then?

Well I've sat down had a cuppa and done the math, and I reckon I'm just over three months older.

Do you know I've not checked. The compact is 170 which is right for me. I'll check Monday.
