[Closed] The Right Tyres

Hi, I am planning a trip up to the Torridon and Skye areas of Scotland next year, around June I now it is a long way off but I am a bit of a planning freak, and I am looking for tyres to suit the terrain. I run Mavic SL wheels and I am currently using Panaracer Trailraker 2.1 front and rear which i bought for a very muddy bike ride a couple of years ago and never got around to replacing.

I am looking for something grippy but quicker on the tarmac sections between trails. The Maxxis range look good from reviews but when looking to spend around £90 on a set of tyres for the bike a little advice is always good.
