Seatpost, well and truly stuck, tried heat ( blowtorch ) Cold ( freeze kit ) and a really large amount of kinetic energy no go....So tried a Coke soak...... God knows what it must do your insides 🙂

Did you try the broom handle technique ? Insert broom handle through seat rails, turn bike upside down, stand on broom handle (one foot each side of bike), twist bike frame (big lever approach).
It's great for cleaning the bog too.

Nice tip though - great when stuff like that works. Maybe you should have added a Mentos mint and set the tyres up tubeless at the same time.
