No one at Hog Hill yesterday? Gosh it was cold.

I was at Hog Hill, broke my rear mech after a few hundred metres in the senior race. I hate racing there and it has put me off racing for the rest of the season, I'm not going well enough to justify another mech and hanger. No1 bike has been put in the loft minus a rear mech and no2 bike will gain mudguards and slicks this week.

Ah! JohnM mentioned something about you having an early bath - I think that Claire did more or less the same thing as well in the JVW's race. Bad luck - it looked like quite a tough race

I wandered up the hill after helping doing the line up at the start and did the calling for Bill in the nicely heated judges hut. But it was bitterly cold at 8.45 when we arrived to do the course check to find that we were the only people there....

I actually wish it was colder! I love racing on ice ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Perhaps BC should provide ski gloves etc too for commisaires, must have been horrible without a warm cup of tea that early!

Are you racing or marshaling at Hillingdon next weekend?

I'm racing! Well, I say racing - "getting round" would probably better describe it.
Hopefully the Arsenic is set up properly now as I've been riding it to work for the last week.
You?

leggyblonde - I had quite a lot of clothing on on Sunday, and a packed lunch.
