Nowt again for me this weekend, so all excited about the seasons final race at Hillingdon next weekend.

So who's doing what and where?

Nothing for me until the Todmorden CX on Jan 3rd organised by Chipps.

I'll be at Peel Park, Bradford for the National Trophy next weekend though. Marshalling that gets me a guaranteed entry for the 2010 Three Peaks CX. ๐Ÿ™‚ Plus it's a good course that one, some excellent racing last year.

Alarmingly, I find my name on the start-sheet for the South of England Cyclo-cross Championships this Sunday. In the Seniors' race. Southampton Sports Centre. A full-on Category 'A' event.

No SRAM Notts/Derby league race this weekend so have foolishly entered the Midlands CX Campionships race on Sunday at Baggeridge Country Park, Dudley. Apparently 152 vets entered - is this a record perhaps?
So in for a sound thrashing in the wind, rain and mud - Yippee!

Good luck to all racing.

Apparently 152 vets entered

Sadly, only 45 in the South Seniors' race so I can't get lost in the crowd... ๐Ÿ™

A rare Saturday off work means that I might be racing Stadt Moers Cross in the NW league tomorrow.

I'm amazed at how my gears functioned perfectly when confronted by loads of mud ๐Ÿ™‚

How did the Champs go?

Thinking flippers rather than studs might have helped?

No idea as to an accurate result yet, but if there were 40 on the Seniors' startline I finished about 30th. I lapped 3 or 4 riders, but then I was lapped by the 3 riders on the podium...

Twas an *unbelievable* slog-fest. A constant struggle to stay upright. Plenty of pics on the BC website, but here's one of me looking surprisingly aggressive aboard my spare bike which I used for one lap while my 'pit crew' washed my bestest one:
