Road racing midweek at the MK Bowl so a nice free weekend to ride out my tiredness 🙂
Must be plenty of people racing stuff this weekend.
So who what where and when?
East Grinstead sprint triathlon, my first flutter with a road tri. 500m pool swim, 26k bike, 5k run, should be a good laugh!
im (riding) bucks off road sportive, not sure if that counts? just trying to relax and be rested really ready for a couple more crazy weeks of some big races.
Going to miss out the Bucks Off Road as my legs actually hurt now. Though I reckon conditions for that will be A1.
Hoping for a bit of sunshine and tarmac on my lonesome.

Yeah having rather neglected training on the bike all winter to get half decent at swimming (accomplished) and running (not so much) I hope I enjoy it! Got 2 more big off-road triathlons later in the year to target though.

How was the BORS and the Tri?
I finished! 8:10 for the swim, 45:30 for the bike, 20:50 for the run, 2nd in age group (not that they awarded by age group!) 19th in category.
Was quite good fun, think I prefer MTB racing though, and prefer open water tris, much easier to judge pace.
