[#9716746]

To stop you spamming up my inbox because I’m busy!

Pie & Ale is booked. If anyone else wants to come who isn’t already down please contact them directly and sort it out yourself (apart from Spenny. Spenny YGM). Say that the booking is in the name of Andrew.

For those getting into Gotham a bit earlier the plan is to meet at the Port Street Beer House. I have no idea at what time or even where it is, Port Street would be my guess though.

Binners has donated a framed print to raffle off. All proceeds to Jenn’s chosen charities.

Right then, talk amongst yourselves because I’m mowed out trying to do my job.

The car park I am planning on using is on Tariff Street (M1 2FJ). If I understand the charges correctly it is £10 for overnight, less if you just stay for the evening.

all welcome to park outside my house* in Prestwich and get the tram.

*I don't own that house any more, but every other motorist seems to park there so it must be brilliant :-/

Had this misfortune of driving down there on Saturday 😯 . So glad that I've moved away too. Hundreds of cars lining all the pavements all the way down to the park at the bottom.

onstreet parking is free after 8pm but spaces are usually like gold dust, however there are a few by the old CIS tower and a carpark that may be free after 8 (1.50per hour)? google Riga St about 5/10min walk

I'm on the tram probably straight to Pie

I should be in the pub for 6.30pm. Maybe earlier if I can't resist handing in my notice at work.

Be strong! Just imaging your colleagues sat on the toilet... with a few hefty spears stuck through them.

I'll be there around 8:00ish.

Planning on parking opposite the pub, but let me know if the carpark that I've found on Google Streetview has recently become a building site.

Anyone else have a cheese based nightmare? I think that I replayed every conversation that I’d had over the evening interwoven into one mad dream.

It should also be pointed out that the pies didn’t have lids. Pie & Ale? Quiche and Ale more like.

Anyway, it was a laugh and we raised something north of £100 for St Gemma’ Hospice. I’ll bank the cash this week then post a link to the Just Giving page when I’ve sent it. Thanks to Binners for the artwork and thanks to you for donating.

Merry Christmas and all that jazz

Andrew

Top night. Even the aforementioned unlidded pies didn't spoil it!

Thanks for organising it HtS and thanks to binners for donating another piece of quality artwork. Sadly I missed out (again)

Finally got round to sorting the raffle cash. We made exactly £100.

I'll launder it through my off shore account then donate it to St Gemma's via the Just Giving page.

Only if you buy the artisan keg saisons, sours, and beardy IPAs. Think I paid 3.80 for a standard cask pale ale 🙂

Where's the next ride?

I'll be out so happy to lead something anywhere between Hebden and Littlebrough.
