Todays ride.

Thats the end of the road for me

Another from last night's ride then a couple more from commuting today.
Making the most of the bone dry trails we have locally before the inevitable autumn deluge turns up!

Finally managed to pop down the Lakes.
Can't believe it's our first trip this way in 2024!

Weather was too nice so I skived off early..it was great

Supermoon setting over a mist-filled Loch Fyne as I break camp on the only vaguely solid ground for a couple of miles....

Not feeling at all smug about having booked these two weeks off a couple of months ago.

Baildon Moor last night.

Summer seems to have returned to the valley.
Three rides so far this week and zero bike washing.
Also found some Trail Treasure on Monday.
I look at it as a reward for picking up shit that some folks think it's OK to throw on the floor.

Utility bike rides are still bike rides.

Found some nice gravel in Beddgelert forest.

Midweek last week is ok, yeah?
Arromanches and the remains of the Mulberry Harbour.

@JamBo, did you find the cheeky return to the carpark beside the stream? It's short but good fun.
Lunch in the café at the Lliw Valley reservoir and the cycled home. This view is above the Amman valley, looking over to Tair Carn Uchaf. About a mile away from home with not a soul in sight.

Glorious Staffordshire
Izaak's gaffe

Singletrack, of sorts, to Eccleshall

then on to Woodseaves and the Shropshire Union to Gnosall

Then the Greenway back to Stafford

30 miles of purely rural lushness.
Dry and dusty Weds night ride.

We are just off on our bike trip. Had a change of plan for the first couple of days which was going to be in Chamonix however it seems the Mt Blanc tunnel is closed so heading off down through France on our way to Finale
I'm sure we will find some where to ride on Trailforks on our way down

Catching the last of the rays yesterday.

Been a busy week opening our new training center and running courses in Liguria, first chance to get up the hill this evening, need to make the most of it over the next few days, as next weeks weather looks horrific.

Boring day in the office on Tuesday, bookended by two stunning extended commutes on the gravel bike ...
Weather a little less 'bluebird' today but the trails around Leeds are still dry, fast and dusty. Quick couple of hours on the HT before tea ...
Gravel ride in the Scottish Borders.

I'm wringing the shit out of this (probably last) bit of warm weather & dry trails also!
Some commutes through woods in Leeds yesterday and today. All great stuff.

Lunch break session practising how to detach myself from bike and jump off 🙂

Nights getting cooler.....

Doesn't take long to heat up in the morning though. Never thought I'd be riding through the Highlands in SPD sandals in late September...

Wednesday night was just one of those perfect evenings. An amazing sunset as the supermoon came up over the other side of the valley. My favourite time of year! Really warm too. T-shirts on a night ride in mid September? Bonkers!

@Tracey - thats 4 bikes in a very compact space! What are you using to protect the bikes? Is it 2 bikes and 2 e-bikes?
Hope you guys have a great time. Look forward to the updates. Your photos always inspire.
@johnhe Yes 2 bikes and 2 ebikes. We use bike shrouds that protect them against each other.
Custom made from here
It's a Tourneo Custom and can still fit four adults in with the bikes. We only remove the pedals for ease
We also do the same when they are in the camper

After yesterday's storms and Finale Outdoor Regions closure of some of the trails we didn't think we would get much riding in today.
However our guide Mario from Trails Adventure came up with a plan and we did 27 miles and 1100m of descent on dry trails. Great day out in the hills

Early slope off from work again today. Didn't rain as much as expected yesterday, so hoping for dry ish trails.
Weather had other ideas though and had a good 20 mins of heavy rain on the drive over. Was a tad moist, greasy over firm. I am not used to riding slidey stuff!
Nevermind, the sun came out and we still had a good laugh!
Looking and feeling very autumnal all of a sudden. This time last week it felt like we were still clinging on to summer a bit.

Rode our from Pietra Ligure today as our guide Mario wanted to take us on trails that aren't regularly riden in the Verzi/ San Lorenzo region. Was out in the saddle for six hours. Steep rocky technical climbs and some amazing descents.
Is always good to ride new trails. Had a bit of an off on a techy uphill switchback and rolled down onto the trail below. Few cuts and bruises but it's all part of the fun.

Weekly group ride last night and I sneaked in a short pre-ride to catch the sunset first - buried myself on the climb and only just caught the sun dipping below the hills.

Despite feeling knackered I still dragged myself out of bed for a pre-work ride - best decision I've made in a while. Clear sky, slight frost, between 2-4degC and I caught the sun rising from a nice vantage point. Return ride alongside the canal was special.

Having a blast here on Elba. Found so many great trails. It really is an Ebike paradise

Bedfordshire floods, would normally ride along these trails!
