Sorry for using a word like 'lush', but just got back from a great ride around Hodge Close and Loughrigg.
What a great day, although it was hard work for some reason and we did end up faffing a lot, the Lakes and hills are looking superb. It was a bit wet under tyre though, but I should not be surprised after all this rain.

Indeed the Lakes were lush today!
Looks ace, very jealous! Doing the coast to coast up there later in the year & looking forward to my first dose of that scenery, though I suspect the weather will be less inviting in November.
