Is the little cafe north of Pentwyn Reservoir still operating?
Also, how much of the descent from the Gap has been sanitized - is it just the very top bit or have they ruined any more?
I did the gap last sunday. the rocky section of the top has gone. its now pretty muddy, red mud too.

I think I'll do an on-line recci for the cafe stop but get a few miles in my legs up cannock in prep for next weekend, Chris!

I'd not bother with the Gap for a year or so... let some big storms wash it all away. Not that it's the best ride/descent round here anyway 😉 I've not been up there for a little while, but have it on good account that it's not an mtb ride anymore!
