Rugby tour (my old team coming over to Ireland) so a pretty messy one, culminating in Munster QF in Limerick. Hope to get out on the bike on Monday to recover

studying Visual Basic and VBA for Access and other dull stuff tonight and tomorrow, most likely...
saturday, not sure- maybe a trip to lee quarry. my band is playing a gig at the packhorse in leeds6 on saturday night.
sunday, early morning blast around delamere forest with a mate who's just getting into biking. easter party thingy at a friend's on sunday night.
monday, going back to delamere to possibly lead a ride for part of the manchester bike festival, quite looking forward to that as hopefully there's gonna be lots of people new to it who'll get hooked.

In hiding.

Bah humbug.

The hills will be packed with trippers in red sox and sandals.
I'll wait for night fall...

Cracking ride last night. Perfect dry trails. a few other bikers out, but not so many that I actually passed any on the trails, just saw them across the hills. Hurt myself climbing on the SS too hard. Plenty of medicinal Herefordshire Pale Ale.

Friday, riding at hamsterley with the mtbe crowd.
Saturday, probably a trip out with the wife and kids somewhere nice, maybe a castle.
Sunday, local ride on the morning, taking the kids swimming on the afternoon.
Monday, masterminding my plan for world domination, or of the weathers nice I might do something outside.

Roper is away but I have still decided to try and do a Sierra de las Nieves ride (mountains north of Marbella) which will take me to a 1900m summit, the highest I will have ever been. As I will be riding solo, I won't be doing any heroics, and if the weather looks remotely dubious, or there is still snow, I'll head back and wait for Roper to get back from his break before trying again, maybe during the May bank holiday weekend.

Made a promise to do a family thing this weekend - I am off easter egg rolling with my Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Brother, Nieces resurecting a family tradition we had when my Gran was around.

Fingers crossed I will get to ride bikes on BH Monday somewhere.

Friday - Recover from tonights wine tasting. Pack Mrs MM off to the office. Attend to poorly dishwasher. Meet sister and do photo shoot of me nephew - just turned one, just walking, that will be fun ...... Chill.
Sat TBA - likely to involve tiling in the kitchen though..... ๐Ÿ˜ฅ
Sun. Friends for diner
Mon - Thai new year banquet at a local eaterie.

Biking will slot in there somewhere. That or a walk with MrsMM......

Swello, always thought about doing the Loch Muick circuit. Looks like you do car park to Lochnagar and go round that way. How much hike a bike is there, especially the bit over to Cairn Bannoch?
