Anyone been to The Edge activity centre in Much Wenlock?
The Edge

I fancy checking it out this weekend but is it good for a days riding for 4x and jumps etc?
What's it like compared to say Redhill for example?

If we have tomorrow dry, will it be rideable at the weekend?

Any info greatly appreciated thanks.

Just contacting some locals, various reviews coming back. In brief: track isn't very long, good activity centre but not worth going to just ride it, ok for a bit of practice, big old table tops, better to go with some mates and race against each other.

I'd give it a miss. Was due to be used as an nps track this year....they said it was going to be improved & extended. I went the week before to check it out, overgrown, dilapidatednot to mention a mud bath, they blamed the weather for the cancellation but I think that was just a good reason to call it off. I wouldn't put this & Redhill in the same sentence (apart from this one to say I wouldn't).

I only live 20 minutes away and its not even worth the journey from here let alone any further.

I used to live in Much Wenlock, and have been past the activity centre a few times. I thought most of it was for Mountain Boarding. It seems they've expanded it quite a bit. If you're in the area, I'd probably suggest:

Long Mynd and Church Stretton
Eastridge Woods near Pontesbury (I think this used to be a top class track at some point, holding some champs there)

Thanks all for the heads up. Its looking unlikely I'll visit then unless they do something good in the future. Cheers.
