Up there today and it seems that "they've" been hacking the trees down again. One of the two big bomb holes along side the road, opposite the very start of the shrine, has been filled with the usual tree branch cuttings, stumps, branches etc. spent half an hour clearing it all but i dont think "they" are done yet. STW cotswolds massive look before you leap cuz the landing could be harsher thank you think! 😯
Was up there last week, clearing the trails, the main one being the long twisty one with the jump at the end, what ****s me off is folks bending + snapping trees to block the trail...
Do you mean the felling or is this something more? I have noticed a fair amount of scrub clearance recently, i have also noticed a few carefully placed branches....
As I was chatting to you about on sat MrMo, nothing new....what causes more damage, us riding secret trails or folks damaging trees....I know for a fact that the trail I mentioned has been blocked at least three times last week...and cleared each time!
This damage is being caused by a few locals, maybe dog walkers....there is no reason to walk the trail ive mentioned unless you are determined to obstruct it....the way it was blocked last week, showed whoever did it put some thought into it, blocking blind/unsighted turns...A bit of tree hugging was required at the last moment at one point....otherwise I think my head would have parted from my body..
@xroads, didn't mean that bit, more the bit nohands is refering to, Just hoping that it doesn't get to fishing line across the trail!
