I've been using STW to buy and sell for years now. Since the new website went live though, i don't know if its people only using the site for classified or people who are new to the forum... ...but people are asking CRAZY money for stuff. I remember on the old forum, that most ads had five or six replys to them. Only the busiest ads seem to attract that sort of response these days. My favourite today was someone pushing unbranded cromo 4130 road bike with a mish mash of old bits and pieces for £600! Get real.

Also there should be a limit to how many times you can repost the same ad....an ad for a Planet X Hammerhead springs to mind.

He's back again, still plugging away for his £400 - didn't realise it'd been 8 months!

But add some perspective...

Look at the quantity of ads that are posted THEN look at how many queries about a sale are posted

True - it just seems that every day brings another worried buyer out to complain though
It certainly makes you think more than it used to when buying stuff
