I have the weekend to myself and feel its time to visit somewhere a little more hardcore for the first time in around 8 years!! From what I can see PORC has changed a hell of a lot, when I went the office was an industrial container! Anyone been to either recently re: conditions? Looking to do some dh/freeride stuff might check out the 4x but deffinately not planning on hitting the 6 pack. Any help much appreciated!

Judging by the weather we've had, I would stay well away from both. PORC, I know, is dreadful in the wet (well, the DH at least), and I have heard the same about the Bulltrack.

I stopped going to PORC as they only ever maintained the one track that was being raced next, and left the others to become overgrown.

Haha well that puts a downer on that, I do remember PORC being a bit 'sludgy' to say the least. Im picking up a new full face so id like to give a little run. Perhaps chicksands or aston hill? Im in Surrey so its gonna be a bit of a drive. Did a quick rip around bedgebury the other day and that was actually perfectly rideable!!

Rogate!!! Gets even grippier in the wet.

If you go on Sunday I may see you there.

Yay! All the hours we have spent sorting out the drainage has made a difference ๐Ÿ™‚

For those interested went tO PORC and it's ok. Some of the dh is pretty gnarly and it's di wet but all in all not bad considering the weather we've had.

New trail will be opened at the end of next week! It'll be a new final section, it's about 1.2km long so it'll be the longest continuous section of singletrack in the forest. It's all downhill, it's swoopy, bermy and little jumpy and lots of oppotunities to break your shoulders off on trees!

We've put 2 and a half years and a lot of money into it, so hopefully you'll like it!
