Ok, as I was going to be the one to post until I was pipped at the post, I'll organise.

Email with your requirements. dezb99 (at) gmail (dot) com

On Thursday morning, if I've got a decent number I'll put in an order and email out for payment, paypal or bank trans.

Put a YGM on this thread to keep it bumped.

Jobzagoodun,
Dez

actually if you get enough takers I wouldnt be surprised if AYUP drop the P&P charge out of respect for having left their UK customers in the lurch once they folded their UK ops. They might even do some nifty penwork with the customs form too 😉

I had to order a replacement helmet mount last Tuesday night and paid £10 sterling for p&p. Damn thing still hasn't turned up and I just think ay-up are taking the piss a bit. Helmet mount 6 dollars, p&p 18 dollars.

Beginning to wish I hadn't bothered although the lights are bloody good.

C'mon ay-up go back to having a UK distributor.

Dez I did this for my local MTB club btw
We did get stung for Duty 👿 it was about 11-12% ish so be prepaired
if you order enough (by weight) they do free postage I think (they did then anyway)

No disrespect to anbody here (as tbh I don't know any of you really) but...
Dez make sure you get the cash upfront! or make sure you know and trust 'em
I'm still waiting for £58 of dutys over a month on 👿
finally got a response from the offending party just the other day after numerous posts on our Board, PMs and emails. Not! happy!

You try to do people some people a favour and get no thanks for it! 😥
beware is all

Keith - thanks for the heads-up about the duty, good point.
I think I'll stick to the small items, just in case.
Pete! Take note 🙂

If you order a bit of stuff you'll get hit for duty probably. High value stuff and good delivery firms then duty almost certainly.

to get a 5% discount and free postage (£30-£40) saving on the two sets of lights V4 set the order would be for £1400 or so - as site says need 5 units order minimum. would need a bit of time to sort my credit card out but could do it - would also have to estimate duty as the stuff comes in custom cases. Also only get hit with one £20 admin charge.

Some of the good colours aren't in stock but are coming back soon and everybody would need to chose both the colour of each lightand the beam for each light (spot, broad or something else etc)- would need to confirm orders and get bank transfers done before order as paypal etc rips you off as well

I'm also seeing a mates Troutie light this evening

mudhound

have something on at work next week but could try to sort in week of 9th nov

Calculations made. Will confirm by email tonight.
I've emailed Ay-Up for a bulk order discount, maybe. Will see tomorrow if they come back with anything.
Details are on the site about expected Duty, so will include that in the "expected price" I give. I'm sure we'll sort it out as you all seem like a very trustworthy bunch.

Would prefer no more additions, but if anyone has 1 or 2 bits they need, drop me a mail.
