did anyone else see the amazing little kid riding his tiny bike on the 4x track before the racing started at fort bill? he was getting serious cheers from the crowd and having stacks and then getting up and carrying on. he looked about four and was shooting down the slopes of one of the jumps, railing the berm and then going over the triples (not jumping!)
he would walk back up the track, throw his bike down at the bottom of the steep bits and make his dad carry it back up for him. it was class.
i have never seen anyone so young ride a bike so well and so fearlessly, i think he was at an age when other kids would have trikes or rideabikes - one to watch for the future!
Was it Jake Peat? Saw him when he was about 2 at Fort Bill trying to ride over a small bump - kept falling off and getting up straight away and trying again. Evevtually mum came along and she had to manually help him get a bit of air as he insisted he wanted to jump 'like that!'. Bless
I saw him. I was right next to him at the top of the run in. He was four, but was not Peaty Jnr. He was a great warm up for the crowd. I feel sorry for the 7 year old who was also having a play but could not compete so left the 4x track a broken child ๐ฅ
i saw him, he was ace! we took my mates little lad 7yrs old and he was amazed/jealous of him. i even heard one of the more senior stewards telling the others to let him carry on right up until the 4x practice session started. He had a right bike as well, i wish i had a bike that good when i was his age!
My mates 6 year old can now do no footers on his bmx.sometimes he lands on the seat with his erse but can actually do them. he can ollie the skateboard as well now.
