Optomistically I built the Chumba with a 36t front chainring, last weekend it was clear my lungs and legs were not so pleased, having downsized to a 32t this weekend, felt much nicer on the climbs and fitted my fitness better 🙂
Think next time I will move to a 34t before making the 36t jump, I tried to MTFU last week but I think an enjoyable ride is more important thank being able to use a 36... 🙂

Its wasn't planned to be a pitch replacement but its crossing my mind the more I ride the Chumba.
what you really want is a Cane Creek double barrel 🙂
Chumba are having Malcolm from Cane Creek re work the CCDB for the XCL and VF2, can't wait to try it out 🙂

Hoping to do the Kirroughtee Red and Black next weekend to try the Chumba on a longer run and some more differing terrain can't wait.
