...tubeless for being so simple.
Just did my first conversion using a Maxxis Minion DHF 2.35 SPC Kevlar (722g FYI)/DT E540 combo. Couldn't have been more simple.
Didn't need tyre levers at all to get the tyre on and seated it using just a track pump! Never pumped that fast before!!
Had to push tyre down over valve hole to get air in but got there in the end.
For what its worth, i covered the rim strip in barely watered down car shampoo and tyre bead also. Tyre just slipped onto rim. Thats the first time i have ever managed without levers.
Thanks for info given on previous postings, just need to do rear now.
What goo are you using?
Went with Just Riding Along Wheelmilk in the end as i was getting the tubes from them also.
Not sure how long it'll last. Time will tell.
