I'm in Fareham, and yes, I did forget about it until now.

Yeah, looks like its gonna be a miss, or I'll be getting a 1 hour 15 minute train to Andover, then cycling 7 miles to the start line.. But if its raining, might just go out on the road bike with the club instead.
And yes, it did rain a lot last year. Still a good ride, the woods section is great. It was the day we got back from the pyrenees too.
Wahey, looks like I got a lift tomorrow. See you all there! (I'll be on a black rockhopper..)
Dont know if I should do the 50 or 80km.. Think it will depend on the weather.
I am waiting to see what the weater is like as i did it last year in the reain and managed to wear out both ssets of pads and destroy my discs. Though having done it for a few years (and the cold one) it is a good event so may go any way.
