Any thoughts on these for a gravel bike? Bike is used about 75% off road and 25% on road. Being able to cope with the usual (all year) Scottish conditions is vital.
I saw a suggestion of having a Trail on the front and a Speed on the back which sounded a good possibility.
Off-road trails are mainly in and around the Pentlands at the moment, though obviously planning further afield and longer days out when we get back to some sort of normality.
Any thoughts very welcome. Ta.
I find running a slick(er) tyre on the back of a gravel bike works well.
I'm probably 50% road, 50% fireroad/sustrans paths etc and running a gravelking SK in front and a slick at the back.
Was happy doing 18mph on the flat on the road this morning.
I am not sure if that helps
Schwalbe Smart Sam ?
Ta, will take a look at those others too. Went initially with Conti as I've run their tyres on my road bikes for years and have always been happy with them.
