Looking at getting either a Tern Link D8 or P9, does anyone have one that they use for commuting?
I'm looking at a 6-7 mile commute to the station though quiet country lanes, can't use a normal sized bike due to rush hour restrictions on the train and not sure about leaving even a hack bike in a semi rural unlit station carpark.
Anyone? or one of the very similar Dahon's
I've a Dahon vitesse D7. Seems ok to me, bit too upright for a 6-7 mile commute though, better for short hops into town and that, nothing to stop it being used for longer though I guess. Its very useful for slinging in the car boot/train/taxi/under pub table and stuff.
I'd reccomend trying one out though as your commute does sound at the upper end of what i'd have thought you'd want to do on it (but i'm used to MTBs and road bikes).
