Went for a gentle pootle Friday afternoon, and on the way Home, started getting a pain in my right Knee.

Being bloody minded, instead of ringing for a lift home, I carried on just thinking it would be OK when I got back.

Overnight, it hurt like **** especially when going from having my leg fully bent to straightening out to stand.

Worried about it, I went to Minors and they diagnosed tendonitis and said just rest for a few days. I nipped to Boots yesterday and got a sports support and have worn that all yesterday and today but not overnight.

Now my Knee feels fine and ive just been pottering around the allotment today so just wondered if anyone as had any experience of tendonitis, and is it likely to return or just be a "one off"

Thanks

No it's probably not a one off and im willing to bet that although you feel fine now if you do more of whatever caused it, it'll come right back. Tendons are famously slow healers. Ice cycles profen gel worked for me to help with the pain and speed recovery.

Something is most likely causing it though, look at pedals, seat height etc etc.
