What bits are you trying to protect? I always find zip-tied inner tube to be the best temporary protection.

Missed my point, I've got copter tape, but its not available to me for a few days, and need to protect the frame in that time. Only have electrical tape.

Be fine, do a few layers to be sure.

Try bikesheild, it's a much better solution than copter tape. Last loads longer too.
