Interested to see what people are riding as well as how they set them up. For a lot of general mess about riding the set ups should works a treat as well as being just generally interested about the different set approaches.

Well, I haven't actually done any races yet (off to the King of the Hill one at GT in May) nor did I build a bike specifically for racing. But I will be on:

Medium Hemlock frame, 120mm rockers
Coil U-Turn Lyriks (set at 130mm at the moment, but I've only done one local ride on it)
Superstar / Spank Oozy wheels with Minion / High Roller 60a
Double and bash
Formula The One my2011 brakes, 200mm front 160mm rear (but that's 'cos that's the rotors I have, I may size down the front at some point)
70mm Raceface stem
Easton DH riser bars (these may change to a shorter stem and wider bars)
SLX drivetrain
Possible to get a dropper post soon, depending on funds

It's bloody good fun to ride, that's for sure.

I'd ride the same bike for an Enduro as I do for my normal rides.

Stumpy EVO (2011)
RS Rev RCT3
SLX brakes
1x10 speed XT
Renthal 50mm stem
Gamut device
Rest is as it came, so quite light wheels, Specialized droppy post, etc.

For the record I haven't raced an Enduro but as Rickos said they are generally going to be great all round bikes. Tempted to race an Enduro later this year though. I'm riding:

Devinci Dixon
Fox 32's (150mm)
pro2 Evo's on flows
2x XT drivetrain
GD seatpost

I've just unpacked mine after round 1 up at Inners, and I'm pretty happy with the set up.

KTM Bark 10, Sram XO / Avid spec.

[img] [/img]

I made some changes to the stock spec, put on some wider renthal bars and swapped the forks for some Lyriks. Other than that it was standard and I loved it.

150mm travel on the back, reverb post. 2.4 fast rolling Schwalbe tyres.

Things I'm going to change for the next round are to improve the rider, as I know I was the limiting factor this time. Ditch the triple carbon set up, and go for a double.

This is much better than its pilot... Seen here the day after an innerleithen day/night enduro and just a little the worst for wear

Nothing very imaginative on it... Actually took the dropper post off for that race, it didn't have any stages where it'd be a big benefit and taking it off removed the temptation to sit down on the springs.

The mudguard though! Looks terrible, but kept the crap out of my eyes, which is pretty handy.

SC Heckler RP23
Marz 55's (or All Mtn SL Airs)
Ex721 on ProII's (Good buy not specced for weight)
2.35 Single Ply Minions
2x9 on 22-36 with Bash
KS Post Lever not remote - big mistake need remote
760mm Nukeproof Warhead bars due to big shoulders and they were yellow
Hope Tech M4's on 200mm

Not the lightest but fast in the right direction and tough enough to avoid problems.

Finished top half of Rds 1 & 2 last year on it could have gone faster
Made it to 2nd Mega race too (with buggered finger)

Not doing any racing on it this year as I'm down under

Are you lot all on flats then??

Having had a look at some of the x-fusion enduro videos, I do wonder if SPDs would give the advantage for the peddaly bits??

Not competed on it yet but this is my build so far, only things I've still to change for an event is 34 tooth up front instead on my current 32, a dhx air rear shock, and I'm ordering a reverb post this weekend.

Considering doing the mega on it next year, I'll put crossmax sx's and some float 36's.

Lapierre Spicy 316 with a beefier front tyre and flats. It was great for Inners but it's probably a bit over biked for the other rounds.

Specialized SX trail (2007). 36 floats, lighter wheels, 1 x 10 setup, slx groupset. Reverb seat post, maxis igniter tyres. Still debating flats or clips.
