[#1432777]

Thanks for all the answers on my previous thread.

One more question I need answered before I commit to buy -

Is it worth buying the 661 Evo D30's instead of the Kyle Straits??

I'm not convinced it is, myself. D30's brilliant for adding flexibility- superb in shorts for example- but I don't think that the 661 knee pads gain a lot from it, the Kyle Straits are bulkier but that's not really much of an issue. Unless you want to wear them under trousers, the slimmer Evos might be better for that (Kyle Straits are pretty much shorts only in my experience)

I went to buy some evo's but came away with the Kyle Straits. The Evo's were not as comfy & IMO not worth the money.

I do have the D30 in my gloves though - works really well.

cheers Leku cheapest I'd found so far was £54 😉

Edric 64

I have never had them before but as original thread just want some "insurance" for a 4 day trip to N. Wales.

I have recently been scuffing my knees and think it's time to pad up a tad

Ok Edric 64 like I was going to bite Grrrrrrrrrr

I have never worried about it before but my daughter keeps nagging me to be safe when I ride, so as they're made for a reason might as well use them 😉
