Are they as good in practice as the idea suggests...
I'd like to get one, but it would involve a new stem also, so are they worth it?

i had one and it worked a treat, you have to watch the bars spinning though as the battery can hit the top tube on some frames when they spin

I also use one on my commute bike..works a treat.
Also have a spare FSA stem and mount if your interested ?
