Is there a really cheap place to get a frame from?
Could possibly get one from the states. On Cambria cycles I've got as far as putting my address in and calculating postage to the UK and it hasn't mentioned not shipping out of the US yet. Have Santa Cruz lightened up on their policy?

If you buy one from the States don't forget you'll pay vat/import duty and a handling fee..

And as it happens i don't think cambria cycles have that good a rep over in the US. Just a read across from an mtbr thread, no experience of them myself. Halfway down this thread.
